Interview with Saul Cal Morán, Indigenous Youth from Guatemala

For centuries, nature was protected by a set of people who have a deep connection to the planet - but so often their voices have gone unheard or been ignored. The indigenous communities of this world have an insight like no-other into this relationship between people and planet. Recognising this connection, a group of indigenous young leaders from around the world came together to provide context at the start of the Youth-Led Solutions Summit.

This video formed part of the launch of the Youth-Led Solution Summit Launch on Monday 19 October 2020. It is YMCA's new initiative to amplify youth solutions that positively impact local and global sustainability, the development of just and equitable communities, and the well-being of all people.
