Countdown to the YMCA Future of Work Summit, 7-9 June 2021

31 May 2021

With a week to go until the YMCA Youth-Led Solutions Summit on ‘The Future of Work’, 7-9 June, over 750 people from over 80 countries have registered to take part.
Join us now if you haven’t yet registered: the deadline is 23:59 Geneva time on 5 June. Participation is free: we want as many young people as possible to benefit.

The context of the summit is simple: we are in a world of work in crisis – and transformation.   1 in 6 people aged 18-29 gave stopped working during the pandemic, says the ILO.  But there are new pathways to work, especially in the Green, Care and Creative economies. The is event is about exploring those and more, and equipping young people for today’s jobs market.

Across three days we’re hosting four plenary sessions and no less than 48 breakout sessions including workshops, roundtable discussions, Q&As, networking, and deep-dive panels that will provide opportunities to connect with peers and experts. All this, and full access to a resource hub of materials.

Here are just a very few of the events to look out for:

Each organisation will introduce their own unique research findings to kick-start the debate.
